This Privacy Policy explains how Bina Cloud (“Bina Cloud”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use Bina Cloud CMMS, our cloud-based maintenance management service for facilities (the “Service”). We are committed to handling your personal data in accordance with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account informationyou provide when you register or are invited — such as your name, email address, phone number, job title, and department.
  • Content you submit while using the Service, such as maintenance requests, work orders, comments, and attachments.
  • Usage information generated as you interact with the Service, such as the actions you take and the date and time of those actions.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
  • create and manage your account and verify your identity;
  • communicate with you about your account, requests, and service updates;
  • improve and secure the Service; and
  • comply with our legal obligations.

3. Signing in with Google

If you choose to sign in or register using Google, we receive your name, email address, and basic profile information from Google, based on the permission you grant during sign-in. We use this information only to create and access your account. We do not receive your Google password, and we do not access any other information in your Google account.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate the Service, with the organisation or project that invited you to the Service, and where required to comply with the law or to protect our legal rights.

5. Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter only as required to meet our legal, accounting, or reporting obligations.

6. Your rights under the PDPA

Subject to the PDPA, you have the right to access and correct your personal data, to limit its processing, and to withdraw your consent. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at internal@bina.cloud.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. While no service can be completely secure, we work to safeguard your information and to keep our practices under review.

The Service is intended for use by organisations and their personnel and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
